The Mills Corporation was a publicly traded real estate investment trust, acquired on April 3, 2007 by an investment group comprised of Simon Property Group and Farallon Capital Management. The company developed, owned, and operated major super-regional shopping malls.
Known for its mega-malls, combining retail and entertainment elements. You can find that Potomac Mills in Washington, D.C.; Sawgrass Mills Sunrise, Florida; Potomac Mills Prince William, Virginia; Grapevine Mills, Texas; Opry Mills Nashville, Tennessee; and many more.
In addition, Mills operates more than 20 regional shopping centers across the United States, as well as international centers located in Toronto, Madrid, and Glasgow.
